YAHUSHUA (Jésus) a-t-il aboli la loi ?

       YAHUSHUA (Jesus) abolished the law?

The law was established perpetually by YAHUWAH YHWH (g-d) not by man.

Many sincere Christians have heard that the divine laws of the Old Testament - about the Sabbath, holy days, clean and unclean food and tithes - have been abolished and that they apply more to the Christians of the New Testament. These old laws would have been 'nailed on the cross"by the sacrifice of YAHSUSHUA HA' MASHIAH (Jesus Christ). Those who call themselves Christians would no longer be "under bondage" of the old Covenant and its "antiquated laws", passed by Moses, but under a new Covenant - and they will be free to worship YAHUWAH (g-d) as they see fit.

The writings of the Apostle Paul are often used to support such teachings: Romans 6:14: we are no longer under the law but under grace. Colossians 2:14: YAHSUSHUA (Jesus Christ) has cleared the Act which orders condemned us; Galatians 3: 13: 'The Messiah' (Christ) Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law; Galatians 3: 24-25: the law would have been that a tutor to lead us to Christ 'The Messiah' (Christ), thus we would be more under this tutor!

For those who read the Bible superficially and who have not received the Holy Spirit, it seems logical to conclude that these passages "abolish the law. But these entries do really teach to that Act is abolished? Is it not rather of the false doctrine of a subtle ploy devised by Satan to seduce a world that says Christian? We need to understand what the Bible reveals to us on this crucial issue, which has divided and broken the "body" of Christ 'The Messiah' (Christ), through the ages. Conflicts over the law have affected the divine Œuvre, sowing confusion in the minds of many people. Poor understanding of this subject could cost you your salvation and your eternal reward!

    The New Testament warnings

Some isolated verses from the writings of the Apostle Paul, misunderstood, might suggest that Christ 'The Messiah' (Christ) has abolished the observance of divine laws. However, the Apostle Pierre clearly warns that the Epistles of Paul contain a "things hard to understand, which ignorant and poorly strengthened people twist the meaning, as the other Scriptures, to their own ruin" (2 Pierre 3:16). This is one of the first things that we must take into consideration. At the beginning of his Ministry, YAHSUSHUA (Jesus Christ) warned us against false teachers, which comes in clothing of sheep (by saying Christians) and who memorize people (Matthew 7: 15-20). At the end of his earthly Ministry, he gave us this prophetic warning: "take heed that no one deceives you. "For many shall come in my name [by claiming to be Christian teachers] [...] and they deceive many" (Matthew 24: 4-5).

The Apostle Paul also warned us that false teachers would be of the bosom of the Church, and that they would distract the disciples of the truth (acts 20: 29-31). He asserted that, "in the last days", many would follow a false Christianity "having theappearance of godliness, but denying what strength" (2 Timothy 3: 1-5). We reject what makes the strength of biblical religion, when we ignore, or when we let's get philosophical about what the Bible teaches us clearly! That is why the Apostle Paul said at the Church of Thessaloniki: "test all things; hold fast what is good "(1 Thessalonians 5:21). It is also for this reason that the Apostle Luke tells us the example of the Bereans, who "searched every day the Scriptures to see if what on [disciples of YAHSUSHUA HA' Christ (Jesus Christ)] told them was true" (acts 17: 10-12). To test the truth of a doctrine, it is necessary that all the Scriptures dealing with the subject agree - and not only certain passages taken out of context! If we believe that YAHSUSHUA (Jesus) abolished the laws concerning the Sabbath day saints and other similar topics, it is high time that we return back, and that we consider the overall picture that is revealed to us both in the old and the New Testament. Let us concentrate on a few verses taken out of context.

    A law before Sinai?

[Nowadays, many claim, wrongly, that the laws passed by Moses applied only to the old Covenant (agreement between YAHUWAH YHWH 'God' and former Israel), to end with the death of YAHSUSHUA HA' Christ (Jesus Christ)]; they would therefore no longer apply to the Christians living under the new Covenant. Yet, the Bible reveals to us something completely different! The New Testament says that "through one man [Adam] sin entered the world" (Romans 5:12). Sin is the transgression of the divine law (1 John 3: 4). It cannot be any fishing where there is no law (Romans 4:15). Adam and Eve sinned by breaking the divine laws. They have dishonored their parent YAHUWAH YHWH (God), and they put another God before his face while listening to Satan. After that, they have coveted and stolen what YAHUWAH YHWH (God) had banned them. then they lied to cover their guilt, rather than admit their mistake. Cain had received a warning before becoming the murderer of his brother; It should not let anger drive him to Sin by transgressing a law divine Genesis 4: 6-8). The Scriptures show that the divine laws were in effect from the beginning of Creation - for thousands of years before Moses pass the ten commandments.

Noah was called "preacher of righteousness" (2 Pierre 2: 5), and the Bible gives us the definition of justice: 'all your commandments are just' (Psalm 119: 172) - the only logical conclusion that we can draw from, is that Noah preached obedience to the commandments of YAHUWAH YHWH (God)! Some wanting to deny the need to obey the divine laws, have suggested that Moses taught different commands of those mentioned in the Bible. However, in the book of Genesis, we learn that Abraham and Jacob paid tithing (Genesis 14: 18-20; 28: 22), although the principle of tithes be explained until later in the writings of Moses (Deuteronomy 14: 22-28). Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed because of their sins, particularly because of sexual perversion (Genesis 19: 1-13), while the first reference that defines homosexuality as a sin is found in Leviticus 18:22 (read Romans 1: 24-27). Adultery was regarded as a "great sin" (Genesis 20: 1-12) before even on the list of the ten commandments. The Bible reveals that Abraham was blessed 'because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and he observed my orders [instructions], my commandments, my statutes and my laws' (Genesis 26: 5), however, these commandments, the statutes and these laws were not in the form of list before Moses (exodus 20-23), in the context of the Alliance between YAHUWAH YHWH (God) and the nation of Israel.

When creating, YAHUWAH YHWH (God) instituted the shabbat, it sanctified (he put aside and made saint) the seventh day, and Il Se rested to show us how to observe the Sabbath (Genesis 2: 1-3). Many sincere Christians have learned that we could choose our day of worship, or the tradition of the Church has established Sunday (ROME, the first Council of Nicaea (in latin : Concilium Nicaenum Primum) is the name given to a general Council of the bishops of theRoman Empire , which was held in Nicea (today, İznik, in Turkey) in Bithynia, on convening of) Constantin IER(, from May 20 to July 25 325, under the episcopates of Rome new year's Eve,Alexander of Alexandria,Eustathius of Antioch, Alexander of Constantinople and Macarius of Jerusalem.) as a day of worship. However, nowhere in the Bible does not endorse such practices! The Israelites had received instructions to observe the Passover and the feast of unleavened bread-as well as for the shabbat - before the old Covenant was concluded (ex. 12; 16: 23-26). When the Israelites ceased to observe the instructions for the observance of the shabbat, YAHUWAH YHWH (God) asked them: "until when will you refuse to observe my commandments and my laws " (verse 28). This is absolute proof that the divine laws — including shabbat and holy days — were in effect before the old Covenant. The end of the old Covenant does not mean that it is more necessary to obey the divine laws which were in force before that this Alliance was established!

    The old Covenant

A subtle, but false argument suggests that, since the old Covenant and the writings of Moses contain hundreds of laws, those who observe the Sabbath, holy days, the tithes and the laws of health, should also observe any part of the old Covenant; they say that leave some things aside returns to make an arbitrary selection of laws to be observed. Such an argument shows ignorance to the old Covenant, and their blindness to the true meaning of the Scriptures, an ignorance that is installed in the churches supposedly Christian over the centuries.

The old Covenant was a formal contract between YAHUWAH YHWH (God) and the nation of ancient Israel. It consisted of physicalpromises, and specially selected people, If this people obeyed the divine laws and served as an example to the rest of the world (exodus 19: 5-6;) Deuteronomy 4: 1-10). It contained no promise spiritual eternal life or receipt of the Holy Spirit; It contained warnings of punishment in case of disobedience. This agreement established three kinds of laws: the ten commandments (exodus 20), statutes, judgments and orders (Exodus 21-23), and the ceremonial law (exodus 25-40). This fundamental distinction is essential to understand what are the laws that are no longer required by the new Covenant.

The ten commandments are the base of all divine laws. The first four (including one concerning shabbat) show us how to love YAHUWAH YHWH (God) (Deuteronomy 6: 5); the last six explain how YAHUWAH YHWH (God) wants that we loved our neighbour (Leviticus 19:18). These laws were in effect from the inception, and they will be for all eternity, because the divine nature does not change (MAL. 3: 6). The statutes and the judgments show how to put into practice the ten commandments (the law of love of YAHUWAH YHWH 'God') in specific situations. Many of these same principles are found nowadays in the civil laws of the nations (Exodus 21). The biblical laws were given for the good of mankind; Today, you can even end up in prison if you transgress some of them! These laws are not a "curse", but a blessing - even in civil society.

The ceremonial laws are quite different. The Bible reveals that the laws concerning sacrifices and offerings were steps , originally of the old Covenant (Jeremiah 7: 21-23). These laws were later added because of transgressions"(GAL. 3:19). The Apostle Paul speaks not the ten commandments, which form the basis of the old Covenant and are in force since the Creation. Even the writings of Moses indicate that ritual sacrifices and offerings began as to the dedication of the tabernacle - either one year after that the old Covenant was concluded at Mount Sinai (exodus 40: 17, 29). The Bible says clearly that the ceremonial laws were added to the old Covenant and, as we shall see, were temporary. Only the latter ceased on the death of YAHUSHUA (Jesus).

    A matter of context

Some wonder: If the laws were given ' in perpetuity ' - including the laws of rituals - how is it that some laws were only temporary? The answer lies in the understanding of the term "in perpetuity", according to its biblical context. The Bible commands us to observe the Sabbath and the day saints in perpetuity (exodus 31: 17;) Leviticus 23:41). When we see that the HA' Christ the Messiah (Christ), the Apostles and the early Church observed these days, and that these practices will be observed in the Kingdom of YAHUWAH YHWH "God" (Isaiah 66: 22-23;) Zechariah 14: 16-19), it is clear that, in this context, "in perpetuity" means "for all eternity". When we read that the Aaronic Priesthood was defined "by a perpetual Statute" (exodus 29: 9), that the priests were to wear special clothes "by a perpetual Statute" (Exodus 28: 42-43), and that they should maintain a light in the tabernacle and in the temple, "by a perpetual Statute" (exodus 27: 2 1), the word "perpetual" [or "in perpetuity" according to some biblical versions] is used in a different context. The tabernacle and the temple exist; Therefore, there is more light to maintain! The Bible reveals that the priesthood has been changed (Heb. 7:12); Therefore, the instructions regarding the clothing of the priests no longer apply. The laws allowing a slave to choose to serve his master forever cannot apply only when the master or the slave are alive - it was obviously not for eternity! These simple observations illustrate what was permanent what was temporary in the old Covenant. The fundamental of the spiritual laws of YAHUWAH YHWH (God) aspects never change. The ceremonial law are no longer required for Christians.

YAHUSHUA (Jesus), the Apostles and the law

Many will ask: If we love the Lord and believe in YAHUSHUA (Jesus), should we still obey divine law? It is regrettable that many sincere believers have heard of a Christianity based on love, and not on "laws and orders" that critics describe as legalism ! Although this argument may seem reasonable for some people, the Bible is a different language! YAHUSHUA (Jesus) said: " think not that I am come to destroy [Cancel] the law or the prophets; I have come not to abolish but to fulfill [complete]"(Matthew 5:17). The Scriptures explain that Christ came to magnify [amplify, develop] the Act and make it "big and beautiful" (ISA. 42: 21). YAHUSHUA (Jesus) taught that we must obey not only the letter of the law, but also inspirit (or intention) of the law (Matthew 5: 21-30). When asked what to do to enter into the Kingdom of YAHUWAH YHWH (God), YAHUSHUA (Jesus) replied that we must keep the commandments. He was referring to obedience to the ten commandments (Matthew 19: 16-20). "He said"that love the Lord"means keeping the commandments " (John 14:15) - but many are unaware his statements today. YAHUSHUA (Jesus) has not abolished the Sabbath or holy days. He himself held and taught his disciples to do the same (Luke 4:16;) John 7: 8-19). YAHUSHUA (Jesus) taught that we "must" pay tithes them (Matthew 23:23). It should be obvious that the popular idea - sustained by many so-called Christians - that YAHUSHUA (Jesus) abolished the law is a mistaken assumption that is not supported by the Bible.

Many claim, wrongly, that the Apostles and the early Church have come to understand that the "laws of Moses" concerning the Sabbath, holy days, the laws of health and tithes are no longer required for the Christians of the New Testament. However, this is not what we find in the book of acts. The Bible reveals that not only did the Apostle Paul kept the Sabbath (twenty years after the crucifixion: acts 17: 1-2), but he also continued to observe its days saints (acts 8:21), urging Christians to make even (1 Corinthians 5: 7-8). This is consistent with the accounts of historians about the early Church. Edward Gibbon writes that about a century after the death of YAHUSHUA HA' Christ (Jesus Christ), the early Church of Jerusalem "unified the law of Moses [including tithes] with the doctrine of the HA' Christ (Christ), until the pressure of the new converts then to the rejection of these principles biblical and Apostolic" (The decline and Fall of the Roman Empire, chapter 15. It is we who translate).

Although the writings of Paul are sometimes used to prove that the observance of the law is no longer required for the Christians of the New Testament, we must consider what Paul himself has said on this subject. "Is not, in fact, those who hear the law who are righteous before YAHUWAH YHWH (God), but it is those who practise that will be justified" (ROM. 2:13); the law was given for our instruction (ROM. 2:18); the law defines sin (Romans 3:20). He explains that faith abolished not, but confirmed the law (Romans 3:31), and that "the law [...]. «is holy, and the commandment is holy, just, and good "(Romans 7:12). Paul echoes the teachings of YAHUSHUA (Jesus), stating that "love is the fulfilling of the law" - and referring toobedience to the ten commandments (Romans 13: 8-10). For the Apostle Paul, keeping the commandments is the right way to become Christian - and not become legalistic!

But that meant the Apostle Paul, in pronouncing words that appear to say otherwise? In Colossians 2: 14-15, "the Act which orders condemned us" (title of debt) which was "eliminated by nailing it to the cross" does not refer to the divine laws, but to our sins. When we sin, we incur a debt - death (ROM. 6:23). By his death, the HA' MASHIACH (Christ) redeemed us from the curse of death (Galatians 3:13). The divine law can be a curse, as Paul himself tells us that it is holy, just and good! When Paul writes that we are "not under law, but under grace", it means that when we repented of our sins, and we obey the divine laws, we are no longer under the penalty of law (death), and having received undeserved forgiveness, we strive to not sin (of no longer violate divine laws (, Romans 6:15). When Paul says that "it is not by works of the law that a man is justified", he uses a term that refers to the ritual practices - not the ten commandments (Galatians 2:16; 3: 2, 10). When Paul says that "the law was as a private tutor for us lead to HA' Christ (Christ) [... but] faith is come, we are no longer under the tutor ' (Galatians 3: 24-25), it refers to the temporary nature of all of the system of the Statute, the ceremonial laws, rituals and sacrifices which highlighted the need for a Savior. It does not say that the fundamental laws of YAHUWAH YHWH (God) - the ten commandments, shabbat, holy days, the tithes and the laws of health - have been abolished. This is confirmed by his statements in Hebrews 9: 9-10. When examining the writings of Paul in their context, we understand that they do not accredit the idea that obedience to divine law is no longer required for Christians. The question is "what Paul" choose - the Scriptures, or whoever coined by critics of the Act!

The new Covenant and the law

Nowadays, most of those who call themselves Christian have contradictory beliefs ; although they are explained in detail in the writings of Moses, they claim to be under a new Covenant, no longer need to keep the divine laws, as they are now written in their minds and in their hearts (Hebrews 8: 1-13; 10: 1 6;) Jeremiah 31: 31-33). However, same YAHUWAH YHWH (God) who inspired these verses, explained us that, under the new Covenant, he will give his rebellious people a new spirit "so that they follow my orders, and what they observe and practise my laws" (Ezekiel 11: 19-20; 36: 24-27). All those who have the laws of YAHUWAH YHWH (God) written in their minds and in their hearts want to observe the divine laws. they do not try to philosophise or to seek an apology for not having to obey. Although most of those who call themselves Christians desire to enter into the Kingdom of YAHUWAH YHWH (God), many seem to ignore that "Act" will come out of Zion [Jerusalem], when YAHUSHUA HA' Christ (Jesus Christ) will introduce his Kingdom on this earth (ISA. 2: 2-4). Saints, as teachers in the Kingdom, will teach in the world to observe the shabbat (ISA. 66: 22-23), the days saints (Zech. 14: 16-19) and the laws of health (Isaiah 66: 15-17). The new Covenant will be based on divine laws - as was the old Covenant. But with the new Covenant come spiritual promises: the forgiveness of sins after our repentance, Holy Spirit and eternal life. Therefore, the new Covenant is called a 'better' Alliance (Hebrews 12: 2 4). In the New Testament, there are more than merely to love the Lord and love our neighbor. It also includes the observance of laws and orders YAHUWAH YHWH (God) to guide us in the right way.

Those who teach wrongly, that Christians are no longer required to obey the divine laws don't realize that their reasoning is the fruit of a carnal mind - of a mind that does not have access to the Holy Spirit, or who does not use it. Paul explains that such a spirit "is enmity against YAHUWAH YHWH (God), because [that it] does not comply with the law of YAHUWAH YHWH (God), and [that he] cannot even ' (Romans 8: 7). An unconverted mind tries to philosopher - or deliberately - ignore the divine laws, even though he claims to believe in YAHUWAH YHWH (God) and love the Lord. Satan is able to influence and seduce anyone in this state of mind (2 Corinthians 4: 3-4). The Bible says that it is the reasoning of those who say that YAHUSHUA (Jesus) abolished the law — a concept which is not supported by the Scriptures, and that is completely contrary to the plan of YAHUWAH YHWH (God). Divine laws describe the outline of the way of life that YAHUWAH YHWH (God) has established since its inception, and that Christians are called to adopt now, and teach it to the world in the realm of YAHUWAH YHWH (God) to come. We should be grateful to YAHUWAH YHWH (God) for the truth he reveals to us in his word, to not be seduced by false arguments. Indeed, YAHUSHUA (Jesus) prophesied that many would be seduced (Matthew 24: 4-5, 11, 24). Pray and study in order to not lose sight of the truth!

    Health laws were abolished?

For centuries, it was believe many people who called themselves Christian that the observance of the biblical laws about clean and unclean food, was not valid. It has been argued that these "laws" were part of the old Covenant, which ended with the death of YAHUSHUA HA' Christ (Jesus Christ). This belief, however, is not in the Bible. The first reference to the clean and unclean food is located in the book of Genesis. Noah had been instructed, take in the Ark, seven pairs of clean animals and a pair of unclean animals (Genesis 7: 1-3). Noah therefore knew the laws of health, long before they were detailed in the writings of Moses (Leviticus 11). The additional pairs of clean animals were clearly used as food, and not only to ensure the reproduction of the species, after the flood. In the Bible, we learn also that he was forbidden to consume the blood of animals (Deuteronomy 12: 23-25). These laws were given "so that you're happy, you and your children after you, in perpetuity, by doing what is good and what is right in the sight of the Lord, your YAHUWAH YHWH (God)" (Deuteronomy 12:28). YAHUWAH YHWH (God) had not abolished a law he would have given this way.

Some teach that YAHUSHUA HA' Christ (Jesus Christ) has abolished the laws of health. However, the verses commonly used to strengthen this false assertion relate, in fact, ritual purification (Matthew 15: 1-20;) Mark 7: 1-23). When we read the stories, we see that YAHUSHUA (Jesus) did same steps mention of food pure or impure. It refers rather to the question of the Pharisees, namely: is it permissible to eat without washing their hands according to the rituals of the tradition (mark 7: 3-8). The words "thus he declared pure all foods" (mark 7:19), who are in some translations were added by translators trying to say these verses something that neither the context nor the original Greek text supports. When the Apostle Pierre, in a vision, received the order of eating unclean animals that were presented on a large sheet, he was confused because he knew that this was contrary to divine laws (acts 10: 9-17). However, Pierre did not conclude that the laws of health were abolished; He declared: "YAHUWAH YHWH (God) taught me to watch no man as dirty and unclean" (acts 10:28) - indicating that Corneille (a Gentile) could also become a Christian. The decisions taken by the Council of Jerusalem affirm the need to follow the laws of health mentioned in the Bible (acts 15: 28-29 See also Leviticus 3:17; 7: 23-26). These laws were established to prevent infectious disease and promote good health (exodus 15:26;) Deuteronomy 12:28). If our body is the temple of YAHUWAH YHWH (God)' (1 Corinthians 3: 16-17), and if we have received instructions to "glorify YAHUWAH YHWH (God) in our body" (1 Corinthians 6: 19-20), we will not deliberately eat foods that YAHUWAH YHWH (God) prohibit us, and that science makes it, in part, responsible for the spread of certain diseases.

The Prophet Isaiah goes even further, stating that when YAHUSHUA HA' Christ (Jesus Christ) will return to judge the world, those [...] who eat the flesh of swine, abominable things [of the broth of unclean foods] and mice, all of them perish, said the Lord ADONAI"(Isaiah 66: 15-17;) Isaiah 65: 4). These verses show the displeasure of YAHUWAH YHWH (God) against those who eat "unclean" foods, which he defended us to eat. One of the reasons for which diseases disappear in the Kingdom of YAHUWAH YHWH (God) to come (Isaiah 35: 5-6;) Jeremiah 30: 17), is that the divine laws will be taught and explained to all human beings humans on the Earth (ISA. 2: 2-3; 11: 9; 30: 20-21). The Bible does not confirm the belief that health laws were abolished. On the contrary, it explains how these important laws have their place in the divine plan.

On this, that the Holy Spirit, divine spirit replissent you his knowledge and intelligence as well as the wisdom to understand his word and these contexts, Amen.

Elohim bless you at all times, because "It is powerful" (Elohim), it is "good judge" (Adonai), it is "a unique" (ʾeḥād).
